The 4 Disciplines That Define Me

1 - Visual Design

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with stakeholders, creative teams, and subject-matter experts to translate business objectives into strategic design solutions. My work focuses on aligning visual execution with communication goals, strengthening brand ecosystems, increasing engagement and knowledge retention, and transforming complex content into clear, scalable visual narratives. I approach graphic design as a part of a larger communications puzzle and construct deliverables that perform across channels and touchpoints.

I bring deep, end-to-end production expertise across Adobe Creative Cloud, enabling efficient concept-to-delivery workflows for digital, print, and motion assets. With a strong foundation in illustration, I develop custom visual languages and proprietary assets that enhance brand differentiation, support storytelling, and improve clarity beyond stock-based solutions. I also leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate ideation, expand creative exploration, and optimize production efficiency—while applying disciplined creative direction, brand governance, and quality control to ensure every output is cohesive, intentional, and execution-ready.

2 - Motion Design & Storytelling

When the goal is to engage customers and hold their attention, video and motion graphics are often the most effective mediums for storytelling. I bring a deep, hands-on history with the medium, supported by a strong technical foundation across industry-standard tools for editing, animation, compositing, and audio production. This experience allows me to translate strategic narratives into dynamic visual stories, whether for brand films, product launches, or experiential content, from concept through final delivery.

I work fluently across the Adobe ecosystem, integrating animation, compositing, sound design, and editorial to deliver cohesive, high-quality motion content. My experience extends to character animation and rigging, enabling controlled, performance-driven motion and reusable animation systems. I also incorporate AI-generated assets and automation tools to accelerate concept development, enhance visual complexity, and streamline production, while maintaining strict creative and technical standards that support clear, engaging storytelling.

3 - Illustration & Experience Design

Illustration has evolved from a supporting skill into a strategic pillar of my design practice and a key driver of brand differentiation. What was once an ancillary capability alongside graphic design has increasingly become the central visual engine of projects. My illustrative approach enables the creation of proprietary, ownable assets and visual systems that clarify complex ideas, elevate storytelling, and build lasting brand equity. My ability to rapidly visualize abstract concepts and translate experiences that exist only in the imagination into compelling visuals has become a significant value add, particularly within product demos and live event environments. By giving form to complex or intangible ideas, I help teams align around a shared vision, elevate storytelling, and create moments that resonate with audiences in real time. This capability not only accelerates buy-in and understanding but also enhances the impact and memorability of experiential and presentation-driven work.

Leveraging both traditional craft and AI-assisted tools, I accelerate ideation, expand creative exploration, and streamline production workflows, ensuring high-quality output without compromising originality or strategic intent. Illustration informs my storytelling at every level, allowing narrative and visual expression to evolve in tandem, creating cohesive, immersive experiences that resonate across platforms. This capability serves as both a creative differentiator and a strategic lever within my overall design approach, driving brand identity, enhancing content ecosystems, and delivering work that is visually distinctive, emotionally engaging, and aligned with measurable communication goals.

4 - “Art”ificial Intelligence

AI has become a natural extension of my creative workflow for producing imagery and video. It has fundamentally reshaped how I ideate, prototype, and execute; compressing timelines, expanding visual possibilities, and allowing me to move from concept to iteration with unprecedented speed. Much like every transformative tool I’ve adopted throughout my career, I approach AI with both curiosity and discipline, staying closely attuned to its rapid advancements so I can continuously refine my process. Used thoughtfully, it doesn’t replace creative intent; it amplifies it, enabling more ambitious storytelling, more efficient production, and higher-impact work.

My Alter Ego

My sketchbook is my exercise machine. Like a creative bodybuilder, I maintain a disciplined practice of drawing to stay sharp and visually agile. These raw, often strange, projects live under my alter ego, Endo. The name comes from my middle name and my grandfather’s first name, but it also represents a different creative state. If Tony Marshall is the refined creative professional, Endo is the feral artist.

There are no rules here. These sketchbook explorations exist outside expectations, outcomes, or polish. The objective is simple: flex the creative muscle and draw. Open the mind, silence the filter, and let whatever wants to emerge find its way onto the page.
